✌️ Happy New Year!
🙌 Thank you for being here.
🫶 I look forward to more time together in the next year!
Hey everyone, like many of you, I am taking this weekend off to physically recharge and mentally reset before the new year. I sincerely hope you are able to do the same.
That’s said, I would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you. This journey with The Informationist has been one of the most challenging and fulfilling quests in my life, and I could only have done it with you and your contributions.
I greatly enjoy your weekly comments and questions and insights.
So, thank you, thank you, thank you.
And with that and today’s Inspirational Tweet from @naval, I would love to hear how you plan to use your time this next year. Whether it is for work or play or rest or research, or anything else, what would you like to do more of this coming year?
I am opening the comments to everyone for this one, so have at it!
As for me, I plan to read more fiction in my off time this next year, especially at night. You know, thrillers and mysteries and escapism books. I find this helps to both give my mind some respite while also helping to spark creativity.
It will also get me off Twitter. 😆
OK, that’s it. I sincerely hope you all have had a fantastic holiday and enter this coming year with renewed spirt, focus and energy.
Talk soon,
James✌️
Happy New Year! I’m resolving to leave my smartphone in my office(other side of house) an hour before I go to bed.
It should give me some time to catch up on my reading, be more present with my spouse in the evenings, and not immediately get sucked into my phone when I wake up in the morning.
HNY, James. Best of luck in the coming dystopia.
